Something has been brewing!

It is a feeling of extreme pride and excitement to finally be able to show what we have been working on for the past 6 months. 

Driven by the motivation to “do one thing and do it well”, we want to change the way other furniture brands are increasingly manufacturing and selling their products. In recent years there has been a shift in how furniture is being sold and marketed to the consumer. The industry has slowly begun to resemble the fast-fashion industry and we find this movement unsustainable with the current environmental and world conditions.

Therefore, we believe in only using local production and materials, whilst always considering our social responsibility and the extreme importance of protecting the environment. For us, value is created by maintaining a strict balance between sustainability and business growth. We will use only the resources needed to maintain a sound operation and we will never be greedy when times are good.

With the launch of Ueno, we hope to create a change in consumer behaviour, where we all buy fewer but better products - with increased focus on local production and locally sourced materials - and ultimately help protecting the fragile ecosystem that we call mother earth.
